Dreamsicle Delight

What sounds more refreshing than cooling off on a balmy summer afternoon with a sweet orange creamsicle pop? Have you tried a Dreamsicle Martini? It’s the perfect way to savor the same sweet taste sip by sip without racing to catch drips down your arm. 

These yummy little treats are the inspiration behind this collection of glossy, smooth, uplifting designs comprised of glistening drusy quartz, creamy peach moonstone and twilight topaz. Enjoy!

Dreamsicle Martini

Makes 1

1 ½ oz vanilla vodka

1 oz mandarin flavored vodka

1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice

1 oz pineapple juice

1 oz Triple Sec

Splash of half-and-half or heavy cream

Pour the vodkas, orange juice, pineapple juice, Triple Sec, and half-and-half into a cocktail shaker.  Add some ice.  Shake vigorously.  Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with a pretty slice of orange.

Creamsicle Smoothie

Makes 2

Several scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

½ can frozen orange juice

4 oz pineapple juice

1 tsp vanilla extract
8 ice cubes

Splash of milk

Mix all ingredients in a blender for a few seconds until smooth and serve in a chilled glass.

What a great way to get your daily vitamin C and a serving of dairy – plus you’ll never get cut off drinking these mouth-watering libations. For the non-drinkers, big and small, this is the perfect dessert in a glass. Sugar the rim, garnish with an orange slice and enjoy.
